Established as part of H Noble Group Ltd, The H. Noble Community Fund reflects our long-standing commitment to the communities we serve.

For generations, our family business has stood alongside local families during life’s most significant moments. The Community Fund extends that responsibility beyond our professional role, allowing us to actively support local charities, youth organisations, remembrance initiatives, heritage projects and community events across Kent.

The Fund provides structured sponsorship and financial support to initiatives that promote dignity, wellbeing, education, community spirit and local resilience.

We prioritise causes that make a meaningful and lasting difference to the people and places that shape our region.

As a business founded in 1854, we believe community investment is not simply corporate responsibility it is continuity.

How it works

The H. Noble Community Fund operates as a structured annual sponsorship and support programme funded directly by H Noble Group Ltd.

1. Applications

Local organisations, charities, schools, clubs and event organisers may submit a brief outline of their project or initiative, including:

The purpose of the project or event
The amount of funding requested
The anticipated community impact
Any proposed sponsorship recognition

Applications can be submitted via email or through our website contact form.

2. Review & Approval

All applications are reviewed internally against our funding criteria. Priority is given to initiatives that:

Benefit the local Kent community
Promote wellbeing, education, remembrance or heritage
Demonstrate clear community value
Align with our ethos of dignity and service

Funding decisions are made on a rolling basis, subject to the annual allocation available.

3. Levels of Support

The Fund provides support at varying levels depending on scale and impact. This may include:

Event sponsorship
Youth and community sports support
Educational or remembrance initiatives
Charitable donations to registered organisations

Where appropriate, sponsorship agreements may include agreed brand recognition.

4. Accountability

Successful applicants may be asked to provide a short follow-up summary or photographs demonstrating how the funding has supported their initiative. This ensures transparency and allows us to share positive community outcomes responsibly.

5. Annual Allocation

The Fund operates within a defined annual budget set by H Noble Group Ltd to ensure sustainability and long-term commitment to community support.

What we do not fund

While we are proud to support a wide range of local initiatives, The H. Noble Community Fund operates within clear parameters to ensure fairness, sustainability and alignment with our values.

We do not provide funding for:

Political parties, campaigns or lobbying activities
Projects or organisations operating outside Kent (unless there is a direct local impact)
Individual hardship requests or personal fundraising appeals/ finances for personal debts including funerals.
Retrospective funding for events or projects that have already taken place
Activities that may present reputational, ethical or legal risk
Ongoing operational deficits without a defined project or outcome

As a privately funded community programme, all support is subject to available annual budget and internal approval.

We reserve the right to decline applications that fall outside our criteria or that do not align with the ethos and standards of H Noble Group Ltd.
